FRAMELESS GLASS EXTENSION

HISTORIC SHIPBUILDING WAREHOUSE RE-IMAGINED

Our client wanted to add a frameless and glass-sided extension to their Grade II listed home in order to open up the kitchen and form a free flowing family space. To create a warm and welcoming living area, Raleigh Property installed underfloor heating below a natural stone floor. Thermal upgrading of the existing timber frame was also undertaken, with the installation of new windows and doors and external refurbishments.

Alterations and additions to the kitchen brought a tailor-made elegance. A former loft was converted to create valuable storage and various other internal works were undertaken in the main house. These included the installation of a log burner, bespoke fitted wardrobes and refurbishment of the master en-suite, plus significant redecoration.
