Raleigh Property was founded by Luke Denno in 2003 with one goal – to bring outstanding customer service to an industry which often seemed to need it.
Originally a geography graduate, Luke began by renovating houses and developing property, gaining experience in several trades before deciding to establish a professional building company.
Raleigh Property has developed a reputation for working on fine properties, for our professionalism and for the standard of our project management. As a result, architects often introduce us to their clients.
Luke’s initial belief was that a truly professional building company should be founded upon giving clients what they wanted, which he believed to be:

- A clear, honest and open approach
- Competent, dedicated and experienced craftsmen
- A pleasant manner from everyone clients deal with
- Prompt responses to phone calls and emails
- A dedicated site manager and project manager
- Great communication at all stages
Luke continues to oversee every project and his early philosophies are still at the heart of how Raleigh Property operates today.
Roles & profiles
Luke Denno, Managing Director
Luke will be your first point of contact with Raleigh Property. He has a calm and positive disposition as well as a passion for finding solutions. He has an extensive knowledge of buildings, and clients comment that he has a good eye for design. Luke also cares greatly about long-term relationships with everyone involved in projects; clients, suppliers and contractors.
Leigh Channon, Quantity Surveyor
Leigh spent 5 years as a Project Surveyor for a Construction Consultancy in Hampshire before joining Raleigh Property as a Project Manager. He’s now returned to using his Quantity Surveying skills to produce our cost plans and project pricing, all underpinned by his practical construction experience. Leigh also checks that we are getting clients the best possible value for money when sourcing materials and subcontractors.
Each project manager oversees 2 or 3 of Raleigh’s projects at any time, and works closely with each of his site foreman. He has overall responsibility for managing the project and is very adept at managing the costs, the programme and the flow of information.
The site manager is responsible for running the site and is a daily point of contact for clients. You will find him diligent, approachable and accommodating; nothing will be too much trouble.
The site manager knows the project inside out and makes sure everyone is working safely. As well as his own specialist trade, he understands and oversees all the other trades to ensure that they are providing the highest standards of workmanship required.
